1. Stock Screener — ranks the F&O universe for option-selling: rich IV, calm underlying, liquid enough to trade

Composite score blends IV richness (40%), calmness — inverse HV+ATR (35%), and ATM liquidity — OI & spread (25%). Stocks with thin ATM open interest, wide spreads, or that are on today's F&O ban list are excluded from the ranking and shown separately. IV Rank shows a real 1-year percentile once enough daily snapshots have accumulated (kept in iv_history.json); until then it shows today's cross-sectional IV percentile instead, marked accordingly. Headlines are a best-effort keyword scan, not verified news or sentiment analysis — always read the actual article and check earnings/corporate-action dates yourself. Ranking is cached so section 2 can show a stock's rank without re-scanning.
